The following interview was conducted with Francesco by Thrill International where we look to find  effective suggestions and recommendations before the imminent reopening of the HoReCa sector.

 

  • Hi Francesco, what are your impressions of the period we are going through?

We have always adapted to the difficulties and beauties of a constantly evolving planet! Today we are facing a new challenge, one that will lead to new awareness, great satisfaction and the possibility of new and great progress.

A new phase will open and we will have to quickly find the ways that will lead us to new and deserved successes.

Each of us will have to comply with the rules that each government will issue regarding the reopening of the HoReCa sector, but we must remember that we are the real professionals in the sector and have the task of indicating first what the most effective rules and technical measures should be in bringing our businesses back to a successful level.

Hospitality professionals add emotion and sensations which go beyond creating a final product, the cocktail. They offer indelible memories that remain etched in the mind and heart of our guests.

 

  • Francesco, how do you see the re-opening for companies in the HoReCa sector?

As mentioned before, each of us will have to scrupulously comply with the rules that each government will issue on reopening.

The re-openings, although gradual, will certainly be accompanied by new social habits.

Surely, for a while, we will not be able to welcome guests with our usual best smile, since it will probably be covered by masks, but the smile can also be read from the eyes and will continue to be a precious message.

We will have to try to create the easiest conditions on premises that allow respect for social distancing and above all sanitizing all surface, products and equipment that we are going to be used... in particular the glassware.

FRANCESCO BAUSO

Since 1997 he has experience first as a Barman then as Chief Barman and Food & Beverage Manager, and perfect his qualification by attending the A.I.B.E.S.

Since 2007 he has been director of the historic "Caffè San Marco" in Cividale del Friuli (Italy) and until 2012 he is responsible for Catering for the Friulian Gastronomic Society.

In 2013 he opened his Barman school, taking Courses of: Bartending, Masterclass all levels, Barmanagement, Social Management, TIKI Masterclass. He collaborates with the Tosolini Company and Thrill International for which he makes videos distributed all over the world.

In 2014 he created the most accurate online bartender course on the market, with more than 700 members active across Europe. In 2015 his book "WINNING TEAM - Bring your place to success" becomes a Bestseller.

In 2016 he began working as a consultant. In 2017 he became Senior Coach and NLP Coach in an International Master in High Performance Coaching and created his training protocols on Leadership, Communication, Team Management and Team Building.
