Organized with passion by Fabbri1905, the Lady Amarena competition pays homage to women in mixology and recognizes their significance in the industry. Now in its seventh edition, this event has become a benchmark for talented bartenders worldwide, offering them the opportunity to showcase their skills and expertise on an international stage. The competition takes its name from Amarena Fabbri, the iconic cocktail cherry and ice cream decoration created by the extraordinarily talented woman, Rachele Fabbri.

The competition welcomes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, with a maximum of five ingredients, and includes various bases such as coffee, milk, or tea, with a keen eye on the preferences of a young and adventurous audience interested in discovering alcohol-free alternatives.

Thrill International joins this extraordinary event as the technical sponsor, providing its revolutionary professional glass chiller, Thrill. This innovative tool allows for serving cocktails at the perfect temperature, significantly enhancing the tasting experience of every beverage. The use of Thrill's professional glass chiller will be an advantage for the Lady Amarena competition participants, ensuring that their cocktails are presented at the highest level of quality.

The event will kick off with the pre-selections for Germany at the renowned Barschule München on August 7, 2023, followed by the pre-selections for Austria at the Palais Metternich in Vienna on August 28, 2023. The jury, composed of international experts in mixology, will carefully evaluate every aspect of the cocktails presented, from technical skills to creativity, and from flavor balance to aesthetic presentation.

The competition in Germany will be led by the extraordinary Linh Nguyen, the current holder of the Lady Amarena Deutschland title and the winner of the prestigious Lady Amarena International award in Bologna in 2022. Linh's passion and dedication to the world of mixology will serve as an inspiration for all participants, making the event even more engaging.

The two winners, one from Austria and one from Germany, will have the opportunity to fly to Bologna in October 2024 to compete in the international finale. Here, they will compete against finalists from around the world in a high-level competition to claim the prestigious title of Lady Amarena.
